our founder
P.Taufiq Photography was founded by award-winning photographer, Pervez Taufiq.
Pervez is an artist whose passion for event photography services has grown immensely over the past decade. His creative journey began in a Boston-based band Living Syndication, where he was the lead singer. While he was used to being on stage, captivating audiences in the hundreds of thousands, and seeing his songs chart on radio and TV, he always felt a magnetic pull toward the world of photos and videos.
Pervez often says, “When people ask me what equipment I use, I tell them ‘my eyes and my heart.’” This quote perfectly sums up his approach to photography Service—it’s not just about the gear, but about the vision and emotion he brings to each shot.
For years, friends would ask Pervez to shoot their weddings, and he finally gave in. What started as a favor turned into a deep love for capturing one of life’s most beautiful moments. Initially, he took on a limited number of clients, but as word spread and his community encouraged him, he decided to make it a full-time career.
Now, Pervez leads a team of talented photographers and videographers who share his passion not just for the art, but for the couples they work with.
About the Founders
P.Taufiq Photography was founded by Pervez Taufiq and Nicole Taufiq, a husband-and-wife creative partnership behind one of the world’s most recognized luxury wedding photography and cinematography studios.
Pervez Taufiq is the CEO and lead creative force of the brand. Before transitioning into visual storytelling, he was the lead singer of a nationally recognized rock band signed to Atlantic Records, touring internationally and performing on major stages. That background instilled a deep understanding of emotion, timing, and spectacle — elements that now define his cinematic approach to wedding photography and film.
Nicole Taufiq is the co-founder and creative director of PTaufiq Photography, bringing a refined, fashion-forward perspective shaped by her background in visual arts and international modeling. A former Miss India contestant and acclaimed fashion model, Nicole appeared on magazine covers and represented leading brands across India before stepping behind the lens. Her eye for detail, composition, and cultural nuance has been instrumental in shaping the studio’s signature editorial aesthetic.
Together, Pervez and Nicole built PTaufiq Photography into a global luxury brand with offices in the United States, India, Paris, and Mexico. Today, they lead a world-class team that captures over 300 luxury weddings annually across the globe — from grand Indian weddings and multi-day cultural celebrations to high-profile destination weddings throughout Europe, North America, and beyond.
Their work is known for blending high-fashion imagery, cinematic storytelling, and an immersive client experience. In just a few years, PTaufiq Photography has been featured on Netflix and Bravo, graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, and appeared in Vogue, Elle, People, Us Weekly, and other leading publications.
